My name is Cynthia. I am a fully accredited therapist & counsellor. I provide online counselling for people who are dealing with life transitions they find difficult to deal with  or general mental health concerns. 

Working together via video chats, calls or text, enables me to provide support in a convenient and affordable way.

Don´t ever think your concern will be dismissed. I listen closely to all of my clients. . I take all of my clients and their concerns seriously. Counselling or therapy benefits You don´t have to feel like there is something wrong with you, or else you will be dismissed. You don´t have to feel mentally ill ,or that there is something wrong with you. Counselling helps you to improve, and be satisfied or validated in what you do. It is a part of self care and self development. I would like to help you on that journey by guiding and assisting you.

Pets reduce stress and improve personal well-being. You will never see her but she is lurking somewhere close to me.

Pen & Paper

Have it ready when we start.

I advise you to take notes or make a list to make sure you get the most of the session.  You might be asked to make a list, draw a scheme for visualization and externalization.

Comfort & Moving

At your own pace.

I want you to feel as comfortable as possible Occasionally, I might ask you to get up and introduce you to exercises.

Laptop/ PC

or any other device you can use to communicate with on the internet.

I let you decide whether you prefer to communicate in writing or talking. We can also do video calls but that depends on the level of comfort.

Relaxation and mindfulness

Yes, it is useful.

Depending on your individual situation and your needs I offer progressive muscle relaxation (guided) and exercises on mindfulness and self-awareness techniques. Keep an open mind!

Homework and tasks

No, you are not back at school.

Depending on the number of sessions and your needs, I will give you tasks to monitor your progress, reflect on yourself and to re-evaluate. There is no pressure or expectation. You will get your best chance to learn, change and grow on a personal level.
